As Director of Training and Culture, you will be responsible for
creating and driving an integrated culture and engagement strategy,
able to engage, align and inspire employees with the company's
vision and business strategy. The role encompasses key aspects of
how the Company connects and relates to current and prospective
employees. The role partners closely with the Human Resources and
Department Heads to shape, drive and deliver culture, engagement,
training and internal
communications.Duties/Responsibilities:
- To train, support, review, supervise and discipline employees
directly accountable to their position, and to maintain the highest
possible level of employee morale and department productivity.
- To adhere and support the company's core values, mission
statement, policies, and service culture.
- To maintain professional discretion and confidentiality at all
times, never discussing Human Resources matters without prior
knowledge and approval of the Human Resources Manager and Director
of Human Resources.
- To provide Human Resources support to Team Members in the
absence of the Director of Human Resources.
- Lead development, implementation, and assessment of strategies
and programs to continuously improve engagement among our employees
contributing to a high performing organization linked to our
values.
- Provide guidance and tools for leadership as to best practices
in communicating with employees to elevate productivity,
performance and pride.
- Develop internal publications such as newsletters, releases,
email announcements, planned publications, on-line, intranet,
video, special projects and assignments.
- To serve as the liaison for all employees when communicating
with Pechanga IT Department for phone and specific IT related
items.
- To provide exceptional communication to all team members
through Paylocity regarding property information and updates.
- To plan, support, and provide instruction during Orientation
for New Hires.
- To organize and conduct Maxwell Leadership Training for new
hires as a certified Maxwell trainer.
- To plan and execute for companywide trainings including sexual
harassment, CPR/First Aid, leadership training, lunch and learns,
Paylocity trainings, and any other trainings deemed necessary.
- To be responsible for the booking, planning and execution of
employee events with the support of the Human Resources team.
- To serve as the liaison for community outreach programs and
Non-Profit organizations at the Temecula Creek Inn.
- To organize the Temecula Creek Inn involvement with on property
and off property events with our community partners including Oak
Grover, Chamber of Commerce, etc.
- To prepare and track all gift certificates for donations,
service recoveries, gifts, etc for Temecula Creek Inn.
- To serve as the point of contact with but not limited to
Maxwell Leadership Training taking place at Temecula Creek
Inn.
- To assist the Director of Human Resources in the development of
improving and updating of policies and procedures within the Human
Resources Department.
- To follow all policies and procedures of the Human Resources
department and the Temecula Creek Inn.
- To immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous
conditions.
- To maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all
times.
- To practice safe work habits at all times, to avoid injury to
self and others.
- To comply with company and departmental safety rules and
regulations, including the proper handling of all relevant
equipment.
- To attend all mandatory meetings, as directed.
- To perform other tasks, including cross-training, as
directed.Knowledge and Education:
BS degree in communications, business, or human resources, or
equivalent experience required in a related field. English fluency
required. Must have a minimum of three years' experience in a
similar field. Must be familiar with routine office procedures,
possess knowledge and skills to use a computer and other related
technology. Must display knowledge of currently accepted business
phone etiquette. Resort experience required.Skills:
