Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospitals and 19 outpatient facilities, which treat half a million patients annually through 2,600 affiliated physicians.This is a full time position with 12-hour Day shifts, floating between our Scripps Mercy San Diego and Chula Vista Hospitals. Includes $4,000 retention incentive and $3,000 relocation assistance for eligible new hires.

Supporting excellence in patient and family-centered care, the Site Based Float Pool provides critical nursing support to our MedSurg Tele Units at the Scripps Mercy San Diego and Chula Vista hospitals.
Thriving in an environment where teamwork and leadership support is strong, our nurses enjoy the ability to float to different units and have flexibility with their work schedules. As a Registered Nurse working in the Float Pool at Scripps Health Mercy San Diego and Chula Vista, youll join a team of skilled medical professionals who provide superior health services in a caring environment.
The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:

Internal candidates
Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago
Candidates with less than 1 year of experience


In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the followingcriteria must be met:

Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offerletter)
Must remain in original department/specialty
Must remain in original Job Title
Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis andmay result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically notedin your offer letter.
Required Qualifications:

Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
Active California RN license
American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider Certifications
1 year of recent adult RN experience
Must be willing to float to other units
Be able to speak, read and following instructions in English
Have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in nursing
Previous acute care experience
