Food Preparation and PresentationWe are seeking a skilled Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at Whole Foods Market. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining a variety of food items for our customers.Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Prepare food items according to production sheets and recipes to ensure quality and consistency.
• Food Presentation: Ensure that all prepared items are labeled, dated, covered, monitored for quality and freshness, and rotated.
• Inventory Management: Monitor food levels and replenish in a timely manner.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques.Requirements:
  • Product Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of food products and preparation techniques.
  • Cooking Skills: Ability to follow a recipe and cook food to the required standards.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.Working Conditions:
    • Temperature Range: Exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Physical Demands: Ability to stand/walk for 6-8 hours and perform tasks that require bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
